Percy Street Houses- these were a development by JT- see below extract from email from Joseph Sharples.

According to an article in the Liverpool Courier of 14 Jan 1829 (p. 13), Tomkinson was the contractor for the buildings associated with St James’s Cemetery (except the Minister’s House). This, of course, is the location of the Gothic monument erected by Tomkinson in memory of Day, who died on 12 September 1834.  Tomkinson was one of the lessees of building sites in nearby Percy Street, where houses were under construction in the 1830s, and this makes me wonder if Day was working for Tomkinson in Percy Street at the time of his death.
